where officials are rushing to demolish the rest of the building before high winds from Tropical Storm Elsa

threatened to topple what remains of the partially collapsed condo.

The mayor says the demolition will happen as soon as possible.

That could be today.

Then she met with prosecutors investigating the Trump organization

and turned over boxfuls of financial documents

before watching her former father-in-law marched into court in handcuffs.

And Donald Trump addressed the charges against him and his company, CFO Alan Weisselberg,

for the first time in detail last night. And let's just say, his remarks do not appear to have

been vetted by a lawyer. Velshi starts now.

Good morning to you. It is Sunday, July 4th. Happy Independence Day. I'm Ali Velshi. There is a lot you should know before you start your holiday.

And we begin with a bizarre yet scary situation which unfolded over the course of several tense hours in Massachusetts,

partially closing sections of I-95 during the heavy holiday rush.

State police say that early yesterday morning, a state trooper stopped to check on two trucks

that were stopped in the emergency breakdown lane on I-95 about 15 miles north of Boston.

Turned out, the trucks were heavily, they were filled with 11 heavily armed men clad in military tactical gear who told the officer they were on their way from Rhode Island to Maine for, quote, training.

The officer called for backup. Two of the men were taken into custody. Some fled into the nearby woods and the rest took refuge in their truck. Eventually, negotiators were able to get them all to turn themselves in.

During the standoff, thousands of residents were forced to shelter in place.
