We begin with the release of Israeli hostages.

All of the 20 who are still alive and held in Gaza are now in Israeli custody.

They will be given an initial medical screening at an Israeli field hospital, where they

will meet their closest family and loved ones.

Nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees are also due to arrive at a hospital in

Khan Yunis, Gaza later this morning.

President Donald Trump has landed in Israel, where he's confirmed to Israeli reporters

that the war is officially over.

CNN's Jeremy Diamond explains how Trump's conviction that the war is over might affect Israeli

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has wanted to keep his options open.

He has wanted to keep his right-wing coalition allies happy as well by insinuating to them

that there is always the possibility of going back to war with Hamas

if the militant group does not agree to disarm, does not agree to other conditions that Israel

has. But the fact that President Trump, on his way here, is saying very publicly and very

forcefully this war is over really puts the Israeli Prime Minister in a tough position.
