into today's story, I need to make one thing clear. When Daniel Eugene Rametta went on his killing spree, the one we are going to talk about today, he brought with him a few different individuals.

Some sources describe them as accomplices. Others who claim these people were under Daniel's control, call them hostages.

Sources and opinions differ. Keep that in mind as the story proceeds. Daniel Rametta and Lisa Dunn met at a party in Traverse City, Michigan, in December of 1984.

Moving in together shortly thereafter, by all accounts, the pair seemed to be like one of those opposites attract-type relationships.

Daniel came from alcoholic parents, who treated him incredibly poorly, while Lisa was brought up middle-class and well cared for.
