Hi, it is the Red Men Biteside podcast. It is Monday the 4th of May and I'm here to round up the latest LFC news from the weekend.

Well, sadly to say it was an absolute horror show at Old Trafford.

On Sunday, a game in which Liverpool just went into it and seemed extremely unprepared for it.

And we'll talk through that game. We'll have a look at some of Sobaud's comments.

And then we'll also talk about, you know, the fact that Aston Villa drop points Chelsea is still yet to play.

And what that might mean for Champions League qualification.

But let's go right back to the start.

Look, before the game, when I saw the line up, I didn't feel exactly confident about us going on and being able to win the game.

And from the off, with the team that we had, with the lack of, you know,

presence up top, you knew that Liverpool had to keep the back door shut. You knew they had to

keep it tight. They had to be compact. And they had to be very switched on from the first minute.

And Liverpool were just unbelievably unprepared for that game of football.

I've got no idea what we were even trying to do in that first half.

But what I can tell you is, I genuinely thought it was going to become a cricket score at one point.

And before Man United even get the first, there are just signs there.

They're having so much space in and around the area.

There's no one getting close to anyone.

You know, the United players are running off Liverpool players.

No one's track and runners.

The lack of leadership in that first half was staggering.

It really was.
