How in the world did you tie in the brain, neuroscience, and science fiction?

Well, a lot of it's sort of from my personal background.

I've always enjoyed science fiction.

I've really enjoyed horror and feeling, you know, eerie and getting those, the goosebumps. And I just love

October in general. It's a wonderful season as we start to think about Halloween more and more.

And professionally, I've always been thinking about how the brain works. And I've always been

curious about that. So it was just kind of a natural
