In this video, we're going to look at two stories of people who went diving and then captured everything on camera just moments before something horrifying happened.

For those of you just listening, it is a video of several divers swimming close together

in deep green water.

The water is fairly cloudy and the divers are swimming along the top of some sort of

structure passing by these dark open windows. This was filmed in the Atlantic Ocean off the

coast of Portugal at the set of a shipwreck. As the divers swim around, you can see the ship

start to take shape and it's clearly been at the bottom for quite a while based on the

men of growth on the deck and hull.

Incredibly, although the weather that day above the surface was a sweltering 38 Celsius or 100

Fahrenheit, the temperature at 30 meters or 100 feet deep where this was filmed was just a few

degrees above freezing.

Cold enough that it would be like taking an ice bath if you weren't wearing a wetsuit.

The person filming this video is named Callum, and at the time the video was taken,

he was 17 years old on holiday with his parents from England.

Both of Callum's parents were divers, and they'd often go on vacation on boats in the Red Sea.

And a year earlier, Callum also started to learn to dive like his parents,

and his dad took him to the island of Rhodes near Greece to get training.

There he learned basic patty training in the clear, calm, temperate water of the Mediterranean.

Then after returning to England, he continued his training in freshwater lakes.

They weren't as clear or as warm as where he first learned, but they were good enough
