And this week I'd like to talk to you about Venus, turning retrograde in the Zodiac sign of Leo

on July 22nd.

Retrogrades.

What are retrogrades?

Retrogrades are the period of time

when it looks like a planet is moving backwards in the sky. Usually planets proceed forward normally in a typical orbit,

but there are certain times of the year

when a planet will appear to be moving backwards in the sky, and this is called a retrograde.

Now, planets don't really move backwards in the sky.

If they did, we'd all be in a lot of trouble.

But what it really refers to is an optical illusion based on the fact of the Earth

moving perhaps a bit faster than the planet in the sky is and so that's what creates the illusion or the appearance of the

planet moving backwards in the sky. But for astrologers, the spirit of time
