Hello, my name is Christopher Wrenstrom, and I'm your weekly horoscope columnist here on astrology hub and this week I wanted to talk to you about Neptune turning retrograde in the zodiac sign of Pisces on June 30th.

Neptune is one of the three modern planets.

Modern planets is the name that we use to refer to planets

discovered after 1781 in the modern period.

Those planets were Uranus discovered in 1781.

Neptune discovered in 1846, and finally Pluto discovered in the year 1930.

Modern planets are also known as the transpersonal planets.

The ancient planets, which were the Sun Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn,

the planets that were the astrological pantheon until 1841, were regarded as

knowable in terms of their energy.

The sun rules over what I know about myself to be true, the moon rules your emotions,

Mercury the way you communicate, etc.

Over a period of time they sort of took on being descriptive of our

to, to-to-to-to-to- sense of benevolence and generosity and our anxiety around fear. These were all associated

to the ancient planets, the traditional planets. The modern planets, however, weren't really associated with psychological faculties, but rather realms.
