Before we start with this week's episode of Horscope highlights, I would like to tell you that the first module of ruling planets for unruly times is already out.

In this first module, we begin with an historical overview where we discover the origin of the ruling planet, what it's like to be a child of that planet, who made up this idea and why. Here you see a 12th century illumination of the planet Venus. You know it's Venus because she is playing a musical instrument. In fact, she's surrounded by

musical instruments. And below her, below her are the two zodiac signs that she rules, Libra and Taurus, but if you look closely, the angelic figure is holding scales in its right hand.

Whenever Venus was going through the zodiac signs of Libra and Taurus,

it was a good time for you because everything your life would be a sumpatico. In the same book,

we see a depiction of Venus in detriment. Okay, Venus in detriment means that Venus is not at home in the zodiac sign that she's traveling through. If anything Venus is

flummoxed. She's in distress and here we see her almost like Lieutenant

Aherra in Star Trek, the original Star Trek, you know, remember

when they would hit an asteroid or a meteorite or be fired upon by something, the enterprise

would sort of lurch from left to right and everyone would be thrown from left to right,

but no one was thrown more dramatically or more wildly that Lieutenant O'Hara.

She would go lying across the bridge from left to right whenever the Enterprise was under attack.
