Hello, my name is Christopher Wrenstrom, and I'm your weekly horoscope

columnist here on Astrology Hub. And this week I wanted to talk to you about Jupiter,

the planet of good fortune and higher purpose,

coming out of retrograde on October 18th.

Jupiter, it's such a famous planet.

It's the planet that we connect with all the good things in life,

with a turn of fortune that might actually benefit us,

with blessings that we might get from heaven or some way in which we might achieve fame and fortune all of these things we often connect to the planet Jupiter but what I find amazing is that if you go and you listen to different

astrology podcasts or read different articles and things like that on the web, Jupiter gets hardly any mention at all.

I mean, it's like all of the attention goes to Saturn or Pluto or Chiron or

people want to know about Iris, tell me about Iris.

It's almost like there's this gluttony for punishment

where people just want to hear about all the really difficult planets,

you know, and what I find is that that says a lot about human nature.

Good fortune is something that we really want in our lives and is something that we really aspire to, but what really steals focus a lot of the time is misfortune or the things going wrong or the things that have caused us pain.

And this seems to be something that goes on in astrology as well, even if you check out books online to purchase. Most of the books, if they're about planets or asteroids, are going to be about the darker ones and that ones about Jupiter I think are maybe a fraction of that count or amount. And again, as I said, it says a lot about human nature. There's a tendency of ours to take our fortune for granted. That's why I like to practice a daily ritual, which is to count my blessings every day. Nothing that day might have been particularly

extraordinary or world changing but I woke up in the morning, I'm alive, I have people in my life that I love and adore, and I have good things that I can enjoy every life, and these are every day, and these are things that I don't take for granted.
