Illustrated. My guest today is comedian Jamel Johnson, a very funny man and a huge NBA fan.

He is the host of the new NBA Storytime podcast. It's a really fun new series. The first episode just came out recently.

It's about Shaq and Akeem and a one-on-one pay-per-view they were supposed to do that never happened

back in the early 90s. And NBA Storytime is delving into stories like that. Offbeat stuff, long-forgotten

moments. It's a really cool concept. It's a lot of fun. And that's not nearly as fun of a description as Jamel has on the pod summary.

So let me just read you a snippet of that, which is comedian Jamel Johnson regales you with short

tales of horn swoggled hoops, bonkers ball, and naughty NBA shenanigans.

If you're not already subscribing by now, folks, I don't know what to tell you. That's a

phenomenal description and the series is a lot of fun. So go do that. Jamel's also a big Wizards fan.

We had to talk a little bit about Bradley Beals future. He lives in LA. So we got into Lakers Clippers

rivalry a bit, talked about fans heckling, who the funniest NBA players are, all kinds of fun

stuff.

And I asked Jamel to tell me what his Nick Anderson moment was as a comedian.
