We are at Darrell K. Royal, Texas Memorial Stadium.

We've just returned from post-game press conferences with Steve Sarkeesian, Archmanning, and the Longhorns.

And Eric, my goodness, for a four-minute and 11-second span when Texas scored four touchdowns, three of them off of defensive

forced turnovers. This Longhorns team looked like the team. I think everyone thought we'd

see the team that was preseason number one. Everything was clicking. And then outside of those four minutes and 11 seconds,

it seemed like the longhorns were trying to overcome a lot of mistakes. Eric, your thoughts?

Chip, I thought you hit the nail on the head when you talked about trying to overcome mistakes.

I don't have my final. I mean, I believe it was,

what, 12 penalties for 155 yards, if that's correct? 12 for 115. What was to be 1 15? My apologies. 12 for 115. That's still a lot. That's still a lot. That was my question to Steve Sarkesian. I wanted to know. Of course, in the immediacy of the law, in the loss, Stries again, the immediacy of the win.

He didn't

have a chance to look at those penalties but here's the big picture right you can do that against

san jose state let's just call a spade a spade no disrespect to the spartans this is not a team that is

equipped to capitalize on said turnover chip but i I will give you an example. When San Jose

State got the ball back following a Texas drive, the first drive of the game, where Parker

Livingstone, opening play in the game goes for 23 yards, DeAndre Moore. It gets called back because

of a hold. That towards the drive. You go three and out san Jose state quarterback walker eager

had a guy who was wide open danny scadero missed him okay those are the types of things you cannot do in

ccc play so yes if you are a longhorn fan if you're steve sarkesian and company a win is a win

you're happy you got the win but you cannot ignore some of
