Summary

Today on the show Dr. Shona Datta-Thomas and Kat talk about the importance of acknowledging our hormone health as the inevitable aging process happens. In our culture - we try to do anything but age- but when it comes down to it… it’s happening every second. So, what do we need to know and why? How do sleep and exercise playing a role in hormone balance and how does that change as we age?

Shoma is a kind soul with a heart to have informative conversations with the patients she works with. It can be tough to find enough time to talk to your doctor about some of these issues in the normal 15 minute windows we are given during appointments so… let this be a starting off point to get you thinking about the questions you may want answers to as you age. Moushumi Shoma Datta-Thomas, MD is a Johns Hopkins trained board-certified aesthetic gynecologist with fellowship specialization in advanced pelvic and vaginal surgery. More than 10 years of experience treating complex GYN conditions has shaped her philosophy to tailor treatment to your individual needs as a woman, combining cosmetic appearance with optimal genital, urinary, and sexual function. she currently serves as the head of Wellness Medicine at Modern Age.
