It's been a busy week here. We're getting ready to launch the

scores 2023 fantasy football draft kit later this week. So I am hard at work as always, but we

finally had one of the big remaining free agent signs. So I had to jump on. I had to discuss that

move today. DeAndre Hopkins, ending up with the Titans, lots of fantasy impact for Tennessee. And

yes, from a fantasy standpoint alone, it would have been nice to see D. Hop go to the chiefs

or the bills or one of these more high-powered, pass-happy offenses.

Instead, he takes the best contract that he was offered.

You can't blame him for that.

And he joins a Titans team that was severely lacking in receiving

game weapons they needed that number one guy they got him now trae long berks chigekon kankwo

exciting young players but they were far from established options hopkins comes in and gives

ryan tannahill a guy that he can trust that we've seen do it year in and year out in the league

now there's some concerns the age cliff is coming for him he's 31 year a guy that he can trust that we've seen do it year in and year out in the league.

Now there's some concerns. The age cliff is coming for him. He's 31 years old. That tends to be the time that we see receivers start to drop off. Julio Jones is a perfect example. I'm sure everybody's going to point to this one since he went to Tennessee late in his career. And he just wasn't the same player at that point. But Hopkins still putting up good numbers last season, only played in nine games. He was playing at 120 catch

1,300 yard pace. I don't expect him to see that kind of volume in this Titans offense. I mean,

they've been bottom five and pass attempts six of the last seven years. That other year,

they were bottom eight so

this isn't a high volume passing attack through the air we do have the age concerns we do have the

volume concerns that pushes hopkins down into more of the low end wide receiver two high end

wide receiver three range for me and my rankings and it's really bad news for this massive breakout

that i was projecting for
