When you're waiting, it seems like everything ticks, the clock, your heart, even the tapping of your fingers on a side table, just relentless ticking and tapping.

It can feel so hopeless, can't it? But waiting is a very active part of living. And this meditation from Psalm chapter 130 will help you be aware

and hopeful as you wait, being mindful of God in the midst of the distracting, ticking,

ticking, tapping, and waiting, being hope-filled for whom you are waiting. Start by taking a

moment to settle and still your racing heart and center too on your breathing allow your mind and body and soul and

spirit to become still here to be still as you center on the awareness of god let your eyes slowly

move from open to a soft gaze to gently closed as you rest here waiting in hope.

This opening time of prayer is yours, a time to be content with what is already available to you,
