Here's your closing bell brief for Wednesday, November 26th. I'm Pierre Bienname for the Wall Street Journal.

US stocks saw their fourth consecutive session of gains today. Expectations for interest rate cuts

and renewed enthusiasm for artificial intelligence bolstered investor sentiment. The NASDAQ led major indexes,

climbing 0.8% higher and is on pace for its best Thanksgiving week since 2008. The S&P 500 and

Dow were both up 0.7%. Treasury yields were mostly flat. Dell shares jumped 6% after the computer

and software maker raised its full-year guidance

and forecast that AI server shipments would more than double.

Robin Hood Markets was the best performing stock in the S&P 500 today, leaping 11% after

the brokerage announced plans to launch a futures and derivatives exchange.

Urban Outfitters shares rallied 13.5% following stronger than

expected quarterly results, boosted by its namesake brand. Shares of Drugmaker Nova Nordisk

gained around 5% after the company filed for U.S. approval of a higher dose of its weight loss

injection, Wagovi. HP stock fell more than 1% after its annual adjusted per share

earnings guidance missed expectations, and the computer and printer maker revealed plans to cut

up to 10% of its workforce. And shares of farm equipment seller, Deer, slid around 6% after issuing

a downbeat annual forecast, citing pressure from tariffs and uncertainty.
