M. We started this series, faith, hope, and love.

And last week we talked about, have faith in God.

And Paul in 1st Corinthians 13, he's talking to a group of people that like us have a lot

going on and excel in certain areas.

And there's some preeminent things in their lives and some things that they're pretty

excited about and some values that they have.

And he comes along and he wedges chapter 13 among these other chapters where he's talking

to them about the things that they're advancing in.

And he says, I want you to make sure that out of everything that you think is preeminent, there's really only three things that are're advancing in. And he says, I want you to make sure that out of everything

that you think is preeminent, there's really only three things that are preeminent in life.

There's really only three things that can give you a handle that can hold the weight of your

life. And he boils them down into 1 Corinthians 13, verse 13. A lot of times we know 1st

Corinthians 13, of course,

as the love chapter or the wedding chapter we hear it.
