Summary

What is the value of your soul? In this powerful sermon, Dr. Michael A. Youssef unpacks the most important question Jesus ever asked: “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36). With urgency and clarity, he shows how God’s questions in Scripture—whether to Adam, Cain, or Job—are meant to bring us face to face with our need for Him. Only Jesus can weigh the worth of a soul against all the riches of the earth, and only His death and resurrection provide the “great exchange”: our sin for His forgiveness, our guilt for His peace, and our fear for His eternal life.
