Tyler thanks for joining me tonight for hope for the hopeless tonight you will

hear the story of the prophet Elijah and a widow who had nothing.

As you hear how God provided for this poor widow and her son, you will remember that God

is your provider.

1.K.17 verse 14 tells us the words Elijah spoke to the widow when she told him she had

nothing to share with him. She was only going to make a small cake of bread for her and her son

before they died. Elijah said, For thus says the Lord, the God God of Israel the jar of flower shall not be spent

and the jug of oil shall not be empty until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth

God turned her lack into plenty.

He transformed her anxiety into peace.

Faith in God can turn your worries into peace too.

As you fall asleep, may your heart be renewed with love for your true source of peace your
