May 10th. There's a lot of you know I am in Williamstown, Kentucky right now for the home school experience at the arcing counter

and I'm excited to meet a bunch of you hope you guys will come out and see me this week. Today, I've got a guest on the show and a family friend.

So I'm glad you guys have joined me today. So many things are happening in the news as we talked about last couple of days.

This incredible battle that's happening in the Supreme Court right now over Roe versus Wade. You guys have heard me say many times.

I think the wind is at the back of the pro life movement right now certainly science is not on the side of the pro abortion industry.

All you got to do is take a look at an ultrasound to see that this is a human being inside of its mother.

And so this is something I'm going to encourage you guys to continue to pray about. Also, we are studying how to be discerning right now over at mom strong international.

We're looking at what it means to be discerning. What does it mean to be a barriand? How can we sift through all of the lies and the garbage really that's coming out.

I'm excited to have a friend on the show with me and he's also a pastor but a guy who also knows something about raising a family.

Scott Lapierre is the teaching pastor of Woodland Christian Church and Woodland Washington. So not too far away from me.

He's an author and a conference speaker. And he and his wife Katie homeschooled their nine children.

And I've invited him come on today to talk about a book project that he's passionate about really going to help you guys see your finances the way God season.

You're welcome. I'm glad to have you on. So you you kind of you know, you've really opened yourself up to a lot of this is going to be scrutiny now. Right.

So if you want to be scrutinized about parenting, you know, write a book about parenting. You want to be scrutinized about homeschooling marriage. Oh my goodness.

Yeah, I wrote my first book on marriage in 2017. And I'm never going to write another one.

Yeah, I think someone said if you never want to be criticized, just don't ever say anything.

Yeah, that's right. No, it's true. But you're talking about a really important issue in talking about finances because really we have a financially illiterate generation right now.
