Summary

Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering.

This episode was recorded live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival just last week with an absolutely incredible panel of guests, Fern Brady, from India the rising Netflix superstar Aditi Mittal and extraordinary theatre maker Travis Alabanza.

Tickets to see Hoovering LIVE in 2019

Hoovering is on A WHOLE BLOODY TOUR from the Autumn. First dates are released here if you click where it says ‘bloody tour’ and dates are being added all time. This is big shit. I really want you to come and bring everyone you’ve ever heard of. The guests are going to be off the flipping charts.

Honourable Mentions

My show stand up show HENCH is now almost entirely sold out but there are a few dates with tickets AND especially you should come to my second extra show on 23rd at 10.30pm.

Outside of that I’ll be doing new material gigs from the autumn and I’m always sticking new dates on MY WEBSITE so have a check. The Hoovering Live dates go on there too.

Go and see the shows of my brilliant guests ADITI MITTALFERN BRADY and TRAVIS ALABANZA.

The cakes we got were utterly mind blowing, they were courtesy of the fantastic NORTH FORT CAFE which if you’re a cake fan and in Edinburgh ever - well - you have to get to there. Absolutely off the charts good. I’ll be honest they blew my expectations out of the water.

Food we mentioned included SOLERO EXOTICSTABLETEMPIRE BISCUITS and TUNNOCKS TEACAKES. Oh! And the mighty KITKAT CHUNKY.

Sort of food we mentioned was HUEL

We talked about YO SUSHI and I ‘think’ this is the ETHIOPIAN PLACE in Camberwell

I’m going to be getting along to there as soon as I can. And I clearly haven’t lived if I’ve not tried this awful but amazing sounding STINKY TOFU.

OH, And

If you have got a any spare dosh to give a month I’m on this great site called PATREON where I exchange for rewards including exclusive content for your hard earned cash which means I can keep doing and improving the...
