Summary
Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering.
This week I’m hoovering with specialist anti-diet yogi Aisha Nash. We met on the Guilty Feminist and I fell in brain love with her grounded attitude and mightily informed chat, then her Instagram started filling my heart and head with all the right kind of education - a voice joy in the middle of the cesspit that the ‘wellness’ industry mainly is- so I stole her for an hour to hoover and turns out she used to be a pastry chef and was up for making me pancakes. Get the fuck in.

Things we mentioned that you might be interested in from this podcast include…
That posh not-nutella is from EATALY
And she talked about Croydon’s infamous SURREY STREET MARKET
Once upon a time she worked at HAKKASAN and her favourite pancake place in the States is IHOP (apparently even the website is inaccessible from the UK, but who knows where you’re clicking from)
A book that changed Aisha’s life was FEARING THE BLACK BODY by Sabrina Strings.
And this was ANCEL KEYS and this is POORNA BELL
Turns out she really does never want to be on
