Summary

(00:00-30:13) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing Indiana picking up its first big win in the Darian DeVries era last night over Purdue. Jake highlights some things that stood out in the win last night for the Hoosiers and they also discuss the news that Bill Belichick will not be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

(30:13-44:03) – In the opening segment of the show, Eddie asked Jake why college athletes announce that they are entering (insert league) draft despite having no college eligibility left. Jake answers his question with a rant.

(44:03-49:05) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing one decision that Matt Painter made last night that might have cost them the game in the second half.

(49:05-1:17:23) – Jeff Rabjohns from Peegs.com joins Query & Company to recap last night’s big win for the Indiana Hoosiers over the Purdue Boilermakers. He highlights the recent development of Nick Dorn, believes that the coaching staff and players are starting to understand who fits in what role, evaluates how raucous the environment was last night in Assembly Hall, and shares some of his favorite college basketball venues.

(1:17:23-1:28:55) – Jake Queyr’s best friend, Derek Schultz, raids the studio an hour and a half before he fills in for JMV to harass Jake. He is asked a trivia question by Jake that he discovered last night when watching a college basketball game.

(1:28:55-1:35:18) – Hour number two of the show concludes with Jake resharing some thoughts that he had on Bill Belichick being snubbed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame class.

(1:35:18-2:04:02) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 makes his weekly visit on Query & Company to explain how the Pro Football Hall of Fame voting process goes, highlights how they divide the finalists into different groups, admits that there wasn’t anyone in the voting process that said to not vote for Bill Belichick, states that Spygate was brought up during Belichick’s presentation to the Hall of Fame, and the significance of being a first ballot Hall of Famer in the NFL compared to other leagues.

(2:04:02-2:16:40) – Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame joins Query & Company to share his conversation with Bill Polian last night after it came out that he was suggesting that people shouldn’t vote for Bill Belchick, points out there Polian is being scapegoated for Belichick not making it on the first try despite ten other people not voting for him, and believes that the Seattle Seahawks are going to dominate the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

(2:16:40-2:18:34) – Today’s show closes out with Derek Schultz joining Jake Query in studio to preview what he’s got going on today as he fills in for JMV!
