All right, welcome to Hoops tonight here at The Volume. Happy Saturday, everybody. Hope all of you guys are having a great start to your weekend. Well, very rarely over the course the last couple of years have our Game 7s lived up to the billing, lived up to the hype. We've had blowouts on the road and at home. You know, a couple of good games in there. I thought that Boston Philly Game 7 was pretty solid.

But this was finally a game 7 that was about as hyped as any basketball game as I can

remember over the course of the last 10 years.

And it just was an absolutely amazing basketball game.

The stars played well.

We had tons of major role player contributions across the board, especially on the

San Antonio side, really was the difference in the game tonight. And San Antonio Spurs are advancing

to the NBA finals to play the New York Knicks. Funny stat, we have not had a single repeat

conference champion since the 2019 Golden State Warriors. A very, very, a fascinating era of

NBA basketball filled with parity. We're going to be breaking down this game. I want to just

kind of bask in this game for a solid 10, 15 minutes tonight, just talking about all of the

incredible theater that this matchup provided.

And then after that, we'll dig a little bit into OKC's future and San Antonio, a brief look ahead at the NBA finals.

We are going to have a bunch of NBA final centric coverage next week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday that is in more detail.

So I'm just kind of kind of give you guys my 30,000 foot initial impression on the finals when we get there. And then at the tail end of the show, let's take some mailbag questions. So there's so many different storylines that we can get into in this game. I want to start with

the stars. First of all, actually, before we go there, just really quick, big picture,

I'm just so thankful that we got like a good competitive game that felt like it was in flux

...
