dedicated to honoring the brilliant men and women

and canines who risk their lives to make the world a safer place. Each year, the judge's

panel receives countless stories of officers who go above and beyond to make a difference within

their communities. Every day, law enforcement officers put their lives on the line

to protect complete strangers. They do their job not for recognition, but instead to uphold the law

and to be a force for good. That's why the organization is dedicated to highlighting these stories

of bravery and service. Megan Stockberger is the co-founder and board chairman of the National

Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame. She joins me now to highlight this incredible honor.

Megan, tell me about the National Law Enforcement Hall of Fame. How did this come about?

Sure. So Adam Davenport and I were friends in high school, and I started my own event planning

business in 2009. And he was running a program called the Entrepreneurial Business Excellence

Hall of Fame Awards. And my dad is a retired law enforcement officer, and he attended one of the

events that I planned with Adam. And he asked us why we weren't doing

something like this for law enforcement. And we kind of looked at each other, and we didn't really
