0:14.6	For who can govern this people of yours, which is so great.
0:18.8	God answered Solomon, because this was in your heart,

0:24.7	wealth, honor,
0:26.6	or the life of those who hate you,
0:28.7	and have not even asked for long life,
0:32.2	but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself
0:35.7	that you may govern my people over whom I have made you king, wisdom and knowledge for yourself that you may govern my people over whom I have made you king.
0:40.3	Wisdom and knowledge are granted to you.
0:43.8	I will also give you riches, possessions, and honor, such as none of the kings had who were

0:55.2	This is a parallel passage to First King's chapter three.
0:59.8	And it's one of the most famous parts of Solomon's life.
1:05.2	And at the beginning of his leadership as king,
1:08.6	he asked for one thing from God, for wisdom and knowledge to govern his
1:16.4	people well. Like out of all the things he could have asked, imagine you are entrusted with
1:25.1	leadership of an entire kingdom and you have one thing that you ask for is this what you
1:33.3	would ask for it's what Solomon asked for and it is pleasing to God God says because this was in
1:41.7	your heart and not for more possessions or wealth or honor
