It's not a Bigfoot story, not a dog man's story. It's just a normal story set in the Civil War.

It centers around a man who deserts the Confederate Army, and he becomes a hermit in the woods, and it's about his life

in the woods, and it's pretty good.

It's a pretty good story.

The author is Jeff Crawford, who is a fantastic writer, has a great imagination.

This audiobook's been laying around gathering dust for three years, and I thought I would share it with my audience

exclusively, at least for now, exclusively on your podcast app. It will not be on YouTube for now.

So I thought it uploaded for everyone to listen to if you just want to listen to a good relaxing

story. Here it is. I'm going to upload it in four

It came as a shock and it frightened him.

He thought himself long past being frightened anew, but he'd been wrong.

It was the sadness of the quiet that threatened to undo him.

For two days there had been noise.

Horrible, terrible, unrelenting noise and then it was no longer pounding in his ears.

It was still going on because he could feel the reverberations shaking in his body.

With each blast, with each pop, his body jumped a little, but he no longer heard the dreadful

noise.

He briefly considered the possibility that he had gone deaf, but that wasn't the case.

Little things like a branch snapping or a bird winging its way to perch in a tree that

loomed above him still registered.
