You know I it's a real honor for me to be with you today and I was praying about what God would have me to share and sometimes you know it's easy temptation because I preach a lot travel around the world speaking a lot to take a message that God's blessed and kind of just take that and share it again and ask him to bless it again, you know, kind of thing. But you know, the Lord wouldn't let me do that this time.

And I was praying and the Lord gave me a scripture that he laid on my heart for this weekend with you at Gateway.

to new, and it's the book of Jude, has one chapter, and it's the book of Jude has one chapter and it's the first verse.

I want you to look at this verse with me. Jude writes, he calls himself, he said

Jude a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James to those

who have been called.

If you have your Bible, underline that word called.

Who are loved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ.

Now we think about Pastor Robert, we know he's called, Debbie's called, we know that, we know

Pastor Todd's called, we know Pastor Steve's called. We know all of our campus

pastors they're called. But do you think of yourself as being called?

Because you know what? We are called by God. The Apostle Paul is so dynamic in this

when he's talking to the church at Corinth he writes this and I think I have this

Corinthians chapter five he says therefore if anyone now make sure that anyone

that includes us if anyone is in Christ Jesus he is a new creation the old is is gone, the new has come. All this is from God who reconcile

us to himself through Christ. And here we are, and gave us, we who are in Christ, he gave us the ministry of reconciliation

We are to touch people their point of need and help them know there's a God who loves them and when reconciled them to the life he had ordained from them from the beginning

but sin had robbed them from. That's our ministry. And that's what he goes on to say.
