0:06.9	a lot to say that I think would be remotely appropriate about the just absolutely horrible,
0:15.6	indefensible, fundamentally just evil murder of Charlie Kirk, which just happened a couple hours ago.
0:24.2	In fact, it was just 15 minutes ago that the confirmation came out that he was in fact dead.
0:29.7	I've had my criticism of Charlie Kirk.

0:36.3	This is just so beyond the pale, so fundamentally dangerous.

0:51.0	I fear, I mean, it would be wonderful if America came to its senses because of this
0:56.9	senseless murder. But I just wanted to extend my condolences to Charlie Kirk's family,
1:04.0	to his friends. I have lots of friends who are friends with Charlie Kirk and just let listeners

1:11.9	we'll be talking about this on the dispatch podcast, you know, tomorrow morning. And obviously,
1:18.0	there'll be lots of things to say going down the road. I'm just so, I'm so disgusted by the
1:23.5	act and so uninterested in getting caught up in the maelstrom of hot takes and finger
1:32.7	pointing and all of that. I just think this is a moment for everyone to contemplate how we got
1:38.7	into such a crappy situation to offer thoughts and prayers, condolences. I just think this is such an absolutely
1:46.6	terrible thing. And I just wish everybody could just sort of take a beat and dwell on that
1:53.9	and dwell on how bad this is and how pointless and unproductive some of the cheap point scoring stuff is.
