Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you are ready to get your mind

aligned with the truth of God. Now think about those words very carefully. Get your mind, your thinking,

aligned with the truth of God that he reveals in the scripture. That really is what we're doing

and a few days ago we introduced this

snowball effect that sin has in the world by studying Romans chapter one and in

yesterday's episode we stepped into the subject matter of one

of those ways that sin has snowballed and it's a way that's a very front burner in our culture. It's the issue of

homosexuality. Now let me stop for a moment and make a few things very clear.

Christians, Christ followers are often characterized as hateful and angry and belittling to those who are practicing homosexuals.

And I want to say just right up front,

I don't feel any of those things myself.

I am able to just look at the truth of what God is saying here that homosexuality is not

what he intended and to simply say those words. Homosexuality is not the way that God intended humanity to function.

In fact, Paul makes it very clear in his treatment of the the People will often point to quote unquote scientific evidence and say no there's a

gene that makes people homosexual and here's how the logic goes and therefore they

are not responsible for it.

They were born that way.

It's not a choice.

It's something in their DNA that makes them that way.

Well, to me, that argument is full of all kinds of holes and here's the reasons for that.

Could it be that there is some genetic or other biological reason that people are bent toward

homosexual behavior? Absolutely there is. But that biological condition
