Hello listeners, this is going to be the shortest episode of a podcast you've ever

listened to. Oh, there's a man to start up a chainsaw outside my window

apologies. We've got news, exciting news,

Homo sapiens is going to be doing its first ever proper live event.

It's a crossover live event with none other than the amazing podcast,

the guilty feminist. So we're going to be doing it with the ingenious Deborah

Francis White and me on stage at Kings Place in London's Kings Cross on Monday

the 14th of February. It's sort of we're doing a kind of mashup and

we're going to do this thing and we're going to call it, we're going to call it

the guilty Homo sapiens because I adore the guilty feminist and what it always opens

every episode with each guest saying I'm a feminist but and saying I'm a

feminist but e.g. I actually like being wolfwistled by builders for example.

We're going to do a version of that which is I'm a Homo sapien but I'm an

LGBTQ plus person but and say something about your own identity that contradicts

the experience of being queer because so many people who've written in have

always talked about how have often spoken about how they feel like they're

not getting it quite right at being LGBT and actually I don't think any of us

think that we're getting it right in life in general so we're going to be talking

about all about that we're going to have listener involvement get you guys to

contribute some stuff and we're going to talk to Deborah and talk to her about

her own story as well which is really truly fascinating I adore her it's going

to be really good fun and finally we'll get to meet after this bloody pandemic
