0:39.3	We want to talk about homeschooling a single child,
0:49.0	one child. Tell us about your single child. My single child is now 21 years old. So we've been doing it a long time since the beginning and with Charlotte Mason since the very beginning. So he's an adult now and thriving.
0:56.8	And so I have Charlotte Mason to thank for that.
0:58.7	That's wonderful.
1:00.4	What were some of the benefits of homeschooling a single child?
1:05.6	I mean, in my head, I have four kids, and so I can think, okay, you don't have the sibling
1:10.1	rivalry. You don't have the sibling rivalry.
1:13.8	You don't have the bickering going on.
1:14.2	Right.
1:16.8	What are some other benefits to this?
1:23.2	Well, I mean, one-on-one teaching is probably the best that a child could get, you know,
1:25.0	individual attention like that. But talk me through some of the benefits that you observed
1:28.4	over your homeschool career. Well, I always say that our homeschool journey was just idyllic.
1:34.3	We had time, quality time, lots of margin built in to our day, so that we weren't rushing
1:40.7	from one activity to the next. We always had, he could choose one extracurricular activity each term.
