I don't know if you guys heard about this, but last week, the United States Senate voted

unanimously to extend daylight savings time forever, starting in 2023.

Now, this has a couple more steps that it has to go through before it actually happens,

but this is something that I've been asking for in one way or another for an awful long

time.

But I am curious how other people, including the two of you, feel about it.

How do you feel about this?

Oh, my answer is not very interesting.

I feel like most things on this podcast have a very moderate stance.

I think daylight savings time, the switching back and forth is annoying because there's

inevitably the moment of shock where I'm like, oh, I slept in or why is it so earlier?

Oh, my microwave's off.

Yeah.

Yeah, every, this week, every year is bad.

So, so as we were recording this, we just did the switch where you lose an hour, and

you have to wake up at like an hour before you normally would, you have to go to bed

an hour before you normally would, and I can't.

And certainly a five-year-old child can't know.
