going to talk about homelessness but I want to show you something before we get into

all of that. Here,

Hop in my time traveling 13 foot fiberglass camper,

we're going to journey back to Elizabethan England.

Trust me, this is all pertinent to the program.

Okay, here we are.

In 1600 England.

If you talk to a local, you will soon discover just how wildly, dangerously overpopulated everybody thinks it is.

Now to us, living in the future as we do, what with our air conditioning and polio vaccines and a

magical rectangle you can listen to me through while driving in your

horseless carriage. Overpopulation of 16th century England sounds quaint, if not observed.

There are 56 million people bumping around England in 2022,

all drinking tea and sweeping chimneys or whatever English people do.

In 1600, there are a mere 4 million people in England, just 4 million people.

In our time, 2022, the population density of England is over a thousand people per square mile.

In 1561, the average density is less than 60.

And yet, all these witch-hanging bumpkins think their country is dangerously over-populated, comical.

Silly old English people thinking their island was overcrowded.

Or is it silly? Let's consider England's massive, crazy unprecedented population explosion of 4 million people in terms of pace.

In 1520, there are only 2 million people in England.
