And we really are excited to be talking about home for the holidays

and looking at what builds a home.

And specifically, our thought was that God could have put his son Jesus into any context.

It's true. But he chose to put him in a home and what was it in that home that made it a place for Jesus to be raised and to flourish.

And so we're excited to talk about those things.

But first, specifically, I do want to mention that so often

when we say home, we picture right, the American dream of a home, which is, you know, a mom and dad, what is it, 2.75

kids, a dog called spot, and a white picket fence. But that's not even the type of home that Jesus was born into. Jesus was born into a home of a disgraced mom and a stepfather and born into a cave.

And so a home doesn't mean this idyllic American home.
