The cool thing about this series for me

has been knowing that we've not only been studying on the weekend but

we've all been going through it together throughout the week and if you're just

now jumping in basically we are setting aside eight weeks to be formed spiritually by the same passage of

scripture as each other so we're taking different texts on the weekend but

So first Peter chapter 2, and I'm going to read to you

verses 1 through 5, and then versus 9 through 12.

It says, therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil

speaking, as newborn babes desire the pure milk of the word that you may grow thereby.

If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Coming to him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, and precious.

You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house,

a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices
