Summary
The Lord's Supper is the last Passover meal that Jesus had with His disciples before He died on the cross. Jesus did something different at this Passover meal that had never been done. He asked the disciples to eat from the bread and drink from the cup as an act of remembering what He was about to do. When we take communion, we are remembering, just as His disciples did, the work of the cross and the power of what it means for us that Jesus gave His life.
