We have just one more pastoral word for you

before we kick off our spring practice on simplicity.

Exodus 13 and Holy Spirit come into every living room

or apartment, to every family or marriage

or a single into every body and to every soul.

Come and speak.

Open our mind and beyond that our heart to your love. Amen.

You are a college student and you're just weeks away

from your long awaited graduation and you have no idea

if or when you will be able to get a job.

Or you just lost your job and you have no idea

how long it will be until you come across another one.

Or you're a small business owner and you just finished a remodel

on your storefront and you have no idea if your business will even survive.

Or you're an entrepreneur and you have no idea

if your dream will even make it off of the ground.

Or you're a grandparent and you have no idea how long it will be

until you can have your grandchild over for a sleepover,

plop them in your lap and make strawberry pancakes the next morning.
