Welcome to Holy Saturday as we are in the third day of our Holy Tridun entering into Easter Vigil this evening.

Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Title for our rosary today is Holy Saturday. We say in the creed that on

this day, Holy Saturday, Jesus descended into hell. Hell is a false translation of the Hebrew word

Shaol and the Greek word Hades, which both meant the state after death. The catechism

tells us in Article 633, Jesus did not descend into hell to deliver the damned, but to free the

just, who had died before him and to take them into heaven. To appreciate what Jesus did in Holy Saturday
