Hey everyone, welcome back.

Two quick notes before we dive in this week.

Number one, I don't have my, it's not that fancy of a microphone, but I don't have my fancy

microphone with me, so I'm recording just using the speaker on my computer, so apologies

for the sound quality.

Number two, I just thought I should

probably reiterate this. When Chris and I began this podcast years ago, it began, it grew

out of me teaching release time seminary to teenagers. I would come home from class and I would

talk to Christa about what we had studied that day and we said we should do a podcast about this.

And it was wonderful. We went week by week. Come follow me came in and now there's so many wonderful podcasts that do exactly that.

They studied the scriptures week by week. And so as I contemplated this new season and kind of a reboot of the

podcast, well, there are some things that have changed for me, one of which, the biggest one,

gospel study-wise, is that my center of gravity has shifted from teenagers in high school

to now adults. And so even though the questions, the fact that I care

about questions and our focus on, as always has been in this podcast, not on providing you gospel

nuggets or golden ideas that are the highlight of your study, but a Kickstarter, a spark

to your own study. That all remains the same. We never want this podcast to be the highlight

of your personal study. Rather, we want this to be something that generates the most

powerful study for you. But what has changed is,
