We're so glad you've joined us today. Throughout history, God has chosen to enter our imperfect

world to reveal himself and draw near to his chosen people in moments where ordinary

places become holy ground. He still meets us in our everyday lives, and when we respond to his nearness with

reverence, the mundane becomes sacred.

Through this message with Pastor Skip, we'll discover how our homes, workplaces,

and relationships can become holy ground.

Well, good evening, and blessed, happy, Merry Christmas from all of us

to all of you. Glad you came to worship with us on this Christmas Eve. We hope you have a peace-filled

Christmas, the rest of tonight and into tomorrow. We're calling this whole theme.

By the way, I feel like I'm under the spout where the glory comes out, but I love this whole

setup. It kind of brings me closer to you guys. I can see your, at least on this side and this

side, your eyeballs, and you look so good dressed up so

nice but um we're calling this holy ground and that's been the theme of the last little mini series

leading up to tonight christmas eve you know one of the questions i get asked a lot by people is

when are you going to go take your next

trip to the Holy Land? Because we've always wanted to go and we'd like to go with you.

And so I try to answer that question, but it is a frequently asked question.

I've gone many times. I've been there 42 different times.

The first couple of times I lived there,

not as a tour leader, but as a farm worker. I worked on a kibbutz just doing manual labor.

The third time I went to the Holy Land. I went with a small group of people from a church in California, and I noticed that
