Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show.

Scott, I'm in a little bit of a pickle, a predicament. Mm, so... Pickle. I'll give you a pickle for a nickel. As you know, I... If you've been listening to this show for any number of episodes, this is our 10th season. So if you've been listening all 10 years, which I know some people have, shout out to you. Well, you probably know that I'm the A mic. Scott is the B mic. That doesn't mean I'm the host. He's not the host where equal hearts host, but someone needs to steer the conversation. And that is the A mic, and that has been my role for virtually every episode, barring a couple

instances where you've done it.

Certainly, if I'm not on the show, you're going to do it.

So I'm in the A-hole chair. I guess that makes you the B-hole chair. Yeah. You're the, you know, I'm the color commentary to your play-by-play. There you go. So, but part of that, a, a whole role is not only to be an asshole, but to have an opening

thought, an opening thing that gets the conversation going. And when it's a series like we just

had against Kansas City, it's like they took three out of four. They absolutely mopped the

floor with them in the middle two games where it wasn't even a contest, complete blowouts.

Everyone's hitting dingers. And then you've got a game like Thursday afternoon, which is

right there in their grasp to win in the ninth inning. And I can't help but make that the focus

of my first thought, not just because it's the most recent thing that happened, but because like, do you guys really want to hear me say, we, those home runs on Tuesday and Wednesday were fun. Yeah, of course, they crushed the ball, but like, it's more interesting right now to focus on like how they blew that game unfortunately

had a four game sweep on the tips of their fingers that they pissed away

i could also go and say that they were being no hit through six innings and they had no

business winning that game in the first place they came back they came back so there's the tale of

two different yankee teams you get no hit for six innings you come back you So there's the tale of two different Yankee teams. You get no hit for six innings.

You come back.

You take the lead.

And then the third team shows up with Clay Holmes, who's a ground ball pitcher,
