Even though she was back in London, Heather was traumatized for months afterwards.

It's affected me in ways that are not necessarily glaringly obvious or on the surface.

I have had trauma counseling because I feel like any trauma for anyone, no matter how you react to it, needs to be shaken out of your body somehow.

However you do that spiritually or physically or mentally.

Heather actually did this. She shook her body.

It's based on the theory that when animals are traumatized, when they run away from a lion or something, they lie down and shake and then they feel better.

And they forget the trauma.

It's something I learnt at a sanctuary in Thailand and it's kind of a really beautiful way of releasing stuff that you hold onto.
