Today on Second Life, I'm speaking with Holly Faggard, the founder of the incredible daily

skincare brand Supergoop.

After a personal experience in which a close friend was diagnosed with skin cancer at age

29, Holly was awakened to the importance of wearing a daily SPF and set out to shift

the perception from a sticky lotion you begrudgingly applied at the beach to a necessary part

of your everyday routine.

Now the company is in over 1700 retailer doors and is Sephora's number one SPF product.

But before she was reimagining the market, Holly was both a teacher and a performing

harvest of all things.

So what did you study in school and what did you think you were going to be when you grew

up?

Yeah, so I studied elementary education.

I always wanted to be a third grade school teacher and I was so specific to third grade

because I love handwriting and I knew that that's when you learned script.
