Tonight I will be reading 2 holiday stories. The first storytelling is a sorrowful Christmas tale called “The Little Match Girl” by Hans Christian Anderson and is about a poor little girl who chooses to stay out in the cold to avoid going home and about her hopes and her dreams. The second storytelling is heartwarming story called “Little Piccola” by Nora A. Smith. This is an Italian holiday tale about a little girl who one day makes new friends and learns what Christmas is like for other children.
