I promised that I would make a video

and I would talk about some of the things that happened today.

I'm going to give you a little bit more back story as well.

So thank you for joining me. I'm going to make good on this promise because my wife

told me I can't come to bed until I make good on it. So this is a little bit of a

weird format for me in so much as I'm a very private person.

My friends know that I'm very open, but I have no social media, I have no Facebook, I don't have

a LinkedIn, I've never had any Twitter or otherwise, Instagram so on until this month in this last month or so.

So it's been a big change for me to be in a public eye and I'm going to do the best I can with

it. I'm just going to tell you who I am.

And I grew up in Texas.

I went to school in Oklahoma.

I lived in California.

I enlisted in the military at the age of 27.

I served until I was 31,

got out and worked as a paramedic in the civilian world
