The twinkling holiday lights draped around the half-timbered medieval buildings

Amongst a crowd, many gloved hands clutched onto steaming cups of hot cocoa or mold wine to combat the chilling winds.

This was Louis's first time back in France, his mother's homeland since he was a toddler.
