Thank you for this honor of allowing me to discuss not only my favorite holiday movie, not only my favorite rom com, but possibly my favorite movie ever.

I mean it's in the top five for sure, like yeah at least three for me. It's gotta be in at least three for me.

Yeah, it just it gets better with age.

And I just absolutely love it. So thank you for having me.

I feel like you already answered our first question, which was why did you choose this movie? And now it's like how could you not choose this movie?

Oh yeah, totally. I mean, but why do I love this movie? I mean, there's just endless reasons. The number one reason being that like I wanted to be Kathleen Kelly when I was growing up.

Like I love books like she was my like I want to be Matilda as a child. I want to be Kathleen Kelly as a grown up that trend.

I mean, I wasn't thinking this way when I was first watching this movie, but I feel like she provided almost like a type of female adult heroine that I don't know wasn't like a Kardashian a five type of role model.

And I just like really liked her. I've always just been kind of like into a you know, like the Nancy Myers, even before it was cool and like the like I said, I like when I was a like loser in high school.

Like you got now and it's complicated like Merrill Street like these women are my true idols.

Nancy Myers Nora F. Ron van Van Diagram was your vibe is what you're saying. Yes, before people were like I'm a coastal grandmother. It's like no, I am a coastal grandmother. My friends joke that I'm that my mother and I are like big and little eatie from gray garbage.

You know, it's you know, I so when that started becoming like people's identity, I was like, oh fuck. No, I got to get a new one. Yeah, you're like, oh man, I really thought I had the coastal the market on this coastal grandmother aesthetic is like playing stadiums now.

And you're like, come on. Like no one cared about their early stuff.
