What our grandparents thought of as normal life is now seen as radical, fringe,

extreme, cultic, crazy. Get married, have kids, and raise them to worship the God who made them,

the world will hate you. You are a fake Christian. If you simply love the world that God made,

love it with all its glorious textures and hues, hierarchy and

order, law and justice, and you may just see riots forming outside your front door.

Do you have children? What are we fighting for, saints? Some kind of radical utopia? Some kind of

crazy internet-driven fever dream? Something extreme, fringe, cultic, or insane?

No.

We're at war for normal.

Whether you find them at work in the Marxist left, the apostate sons of greater American forefathers,

blue-haired Antifa terrorists, or the mainline PC USA down the street,

Satan and his servants are ceaselessly at work in the world to smash up normal and create a hellish utopia from the pieces.

The Christian life is not about wild innovation, radicalism, or utopian fever dreams. No, the Christian life is normal

life, a return to the ordinary glory of creation, a return to life as God intended it, strong

families, happy kids, satisfying work, safe communities, faithful churches, nations knit together

by love for one another in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
