from the latest meme they had seen on Twitter or Facebook, the Russian war machine is grinding

The civilian casualties are mounting and the destruction is getting worse with each passing

This is a conflict that we need to end as soon as possible to save as many lives as possible

inside of Ukraine.

That's almost certainly going to be through some form of negotiated settlement.

Even if the Russians are unable to in the fashion, the speed with which they had planned

to take the capital city of Kiev, the Ukrainians are unlikely to be able to take back lost territory

given the military disparities involved here.

So a negotiated settlement is the way out almost certainly.

And you would think that given that diplomacy will play such a large role in all of this,
